Weekend finds Earth Day rhymes with birthday

As you all know, April 22nd was Earth Day. It was also my mom's birthday, and though I was sick as a dog on Sunday, it didn't stop me from spending time with my mom on her special day. We stopped for lunch, where she got hooked up with a free birthday meal, and then we went shopping. We went to Ross Dress for Less and Target for grocery shopping. Here's what I found at Ross:

I found this Mossimo cardigan from Target off the sale rack for $2.54. Sweet! I also bought my mom a pair denim capris from Ross. Yesterday was great, despite the fact that I was nauseous and had a throbbing headache. I love mother/daughter outings.

JaHaute asked me in my last "Lunch break Shopping" post if I ever eat on my lunch break. The answer to that question is yes- while I'm shopping, lol. Just kidding. The days that I go lunch break shopping are the days that I have a big breakfast and I'm usually still full until work is over. My job is very close to the mall and my apartment, so when I don't feel like going home for an hour or sit there at work for an hour, I go over to the mall just to browse the new merchandise.
