Damn, talk about an under $5 find

MONROE, La. - While Wal-Mart is known for dropping its prices, one West Monroe man took the ad campaign seriously when he dropped the price of a plasma television from $984 to $4.88. Police arrested Chandon L. Simms, 23, on Tuesday at the retail store on a charge of felony theft.
According to police reports, Simms carried a 42-inch Sanyo Plasma TV to a self-checkout aisle after switching the original price tag of $984 with one for only $4.88. Wal-Mart Loss Prevention officers witnessed the alleged transaction and called police.

My $2 finds

My local Old Navy had three racks full of $1.97 items. I love it when they have those sales. I usually come home with a big shopping bag full of stuff, but the racks were kind of picked over. These are what I came home with:

green striped polo: I love the colors of this top. Will definitely one of my shirts to wear for this summer.
fitted camo jacket: I like this jacket, really lightweight. Have to wait until fall/winter to wear it.
puff sleeve rugby
animal striped tote: I love that this bag can hold a lot of my crap, lol.

It's that time again. BOGO at Payless. I haven't been there in a few weeks, so I decided to check out any new merchandise they might have. I didn't see anything that interested me other than this shoe, so I didn't get to BOGO. When I got to the register, the salesgirl reminded me that it was BOGO for the twentieth time since I entered the store:

Salesgirl: "You know it's buy one, get one half off, right"?

Me: "Yes, I didn't see anything else I like".

S: "But, it's everything in the store, not just shoes."

M: "I know. I just want these shoes."
