Organization: DIY makeup brush holder

I needed somewhere to keep my makeup brushes other than in my roll case, so I was inspired to make my own makeup brush holder from Enkore Makeup (he has great tutorials on YouTube). I think this is an inexpensive and easy way to store your brushes- less than $10.

What to do:

I bought a candle jar(?) from Walmart for $2. You could find similar ones from Dollar Tree or any $0.99 store. Take your jar and add vase filler to it. Pour as much as you need into it.

I found the vase filler at Michael's. It's $6 for a bag, but I'm sure you can find it at any craft store. Some people use rice or decorative sand to fill their jars for their holders. You can also use those marble-like vase fillers as well.

And voila! Your Sephora-inspired makeup brush holder is done.

That's a great idea!

Looks very Sephora ish. Now you just need a ribbon around it for some girliness.. :)

Wow, that is an awesome idea. I've been using a plastic utensil holder from the 99-cent store. I would certainly try this if it weren't for my grabby-grabby preschool children and my not so agile cat. It'd be pretty for a day and then, splat, a floor full of sand and broken glass. Thumbs up though.
