- Do dinner and a movie- in your own home. The hubby and I stop going to restaurants on Valentine's Day a long time ago due to not being able to find a place to get into, so we've decided to prepare our own Valentine's Day dinners (thank god both of us can cook really well). Grab a bottle of great wine, and either stay in to see a movie or go out for one.
- Check out a free concert or event. There's a place here in town that has a jazz concert every weekend. The hubby and I may go and check that out. Check your local events guide in the newspaper to see what's going on.
- Have a sunset picnic on the beach or in the park. Now, if you live in a warmer climate, this a good idea. But, if it's still chilly in your neck of the woods, I wouldn't recommend it, unless you and your honey can handle the cold, lol. After the sun goes down and your bellies are full from the delicious food, take a nice stroll down the beach or park.
