I have been a bargain shopper since a teen! My mom was very savvy when it came to shopping and now I am passing on the skills to my teens!!
Yep, always have been. It's just the way I was raised.
I've been a bargain shopper for a long time. I don't see the point in paying full price for anything.
Yes, all my life. I used to hate it, because we thrifted etc. out of necessity. But once I started getting regular compliments on my outfits, I realized that being thrifty actually made me more creative, made me more mindful of quality, and helped me develop a better eye. Even after I started making my own money, I never started spending more, because I knew I could look better for less.
Since the day I saved up all my allowance to buy a bike, I had the option of getting one from Kmart or a garage sale I came across one day. I opted for the garage sale. I was 8.
Like the others ladies, I've always been a bargain shopper because I was raised that way. My Mom was a coupon clipping, arrive at 6am for the early bird discount, clearance rack scavenger pro! And she passed her skills on to me. :) Now we compete to see who can find get the biggest designer name for the lowest price.
i've always been a bargain shopper. i do splurge from time to time, but i'm a firm believer that if i want something good i can always find it in a regular clothing store or drugstore. its funny cause my mom only buys cosmetics at clinique, etc. but i'm the cheapo and proud!
I always have been, but I still splurge on the occasional item.
I grew up poor and always got hand me downs, homemade clothes, thrift shop clothes, or bags of clothes donated to us from people. Thank God for that. Now I shop thrift shops, resale shops, my own closet, etc. It's been a real help since I don't have a big clothes budget. And since I've been planning my wedding it's helped even more. why pay a ton, when you can look just as classy on less?
