Lunchbreak shopping: 40% off clearance @ Kmart (my first haul video!)

I've decided to overcome my fear of speaking on camera, so I made a video of my recent lunch break shopping trip to Kmart.  They were having an additional 40% off their clearance apparel last week, so you know I had to check it out.  This is my first ever video, and the reason why I don't do videos is because I hate the sound of my voice and I'm very shy.  Also, when I get nervous, I tend to repeat myself and say "um" a lot, so you'll see some nervousness in the video (lol).  I'm just practicing right now.  Maybe I will do more videos in the future.  Enjoy!

Personally? I think you did GREAT for your first time video taping! I speak in front of people all the time, but when it comes to television or just sitting down like you just did and video taping? OMG, I get sooooo nervous!

I admire you for stepping out of your comfort zone and doing this. Keep it up and you'll be hosting your own show by the end of the year *smiles*

I'm hoping you have inspired me to try this video thing now.

Honestly it wasn't so bad! It's nice to see some realness behind all the posts..you know what I mean? Personally though I prefer a description and photos to videos. That's how I feel for all the blogs that I read. Good job ! :P

hey
the video is too long.
i like yr style of writing,so why not just upload pics of what u shop and write a line or two about them.that"s better.

Congrats for doing your first video!! It's tough, isn't it?! I think you did a great job considering this was your first time in front of the camera. Watch it back a couple times and you'll see little areas where you can improve. My tip would be try setting a timer and see if you can redo the entire "haul" in 60 seconds. This will help you speed up your speach and hone in on the key points you want to convey. Other than that, great job, keep on keepin' on!! xoxo

Great job, I love haul videos! I was crazy nervous when I did my first video and now I'm getting better. I'm no pro, but you gradually learn.
