Cheapalicious beauty: Revlon's "Perplex" nail color

Revlon Perplex taken with flash.  Two coats with Seche Vite as the topcoat

Perplex-  you elusive little devil.  Ever since Gianna did a review of it on her blog a few weeks ago, I've been on the hunt for it. When I say on a hunt, I mean on a hunt!  I think I've went to about five different drugstores looking for this polish and had zero luck finding it. Thank goodness for my Twitter followers!  I tweeted how obsessed I was with this color, and out of the goodness of her heart, my girl @theramblingsoft came through for me.Yay!

You can't really tell in the pics, but Perplex is a dusty purple with a hint of shimmer, and I think that is what makes this polish stand out. I'm usually not a fan of Revlon's polishes because some of the formulas tend to be a little thin, but the formula of this color wasn't bad. All I needed was two coats for complete opacity.

Oh, and did I mention that "Perplex" is a cheapalicious version of Chanel's "Paradoxal" nail color (see the comparisons here)?  So, if you love the beauty of "Paradoxal", but can't justify shelling out over $20 for a bottle of nail polish, then get a bottle of "Perplex". I forget where Tee found this bottle for me, but I've heard of this color being spotted at CVS, Duane Reade, and Rite Aid.

Do you have a bottle of Revlon's "Perplex"?
