Thrift score: My Super Thrift shopping experience...

While out and about with the hubby yesterday, we decided to finally stop into the Super Thrift store that has opened a few months ago. Although it was 3:00 when we stepped foot in the store, it was completely dead.  I don't know if they get a lot of business during the week, but I never saw a thrift store this empty before.  I wish I would've brought my camera to snap pics of how clean and well organized this place was- a rarity for some thrift stores.  The clothing racks were organized by size, which I loved, because although I do have patience for sorting through racks for my size,  this made it so much easier. Housewares and furniture were arranged very nicely, and their jewelry selection were up front at the register in glass case, neatly organized as well.  The only problem I had with this thrift store was the shoe selection- horrible, horrible, horrible.  I swear, every pair of shoes were jacked up- from heels about to fall off to just being plain disgusting.  I did luck out and found a pair that's in almost new condition, but I have to do some minor cleaning to them.  Other than that, I would definitely visit this store again.  It kind of reminds me of my beloved Family Thrift Center, with cash being the only form of payment they accept and no fitting rooms, but that's okay with me.  Here's what I walked out with.

Sam and Max top $3.99

skirt $4.99.  The original size tag was torn out, so the employees guesstimated that this skirt was a size 10.  I think it's more like a 12 or 14 because it was really roomy.  Either that or I've lost weight.  Ha!

Free People flare jeans $7.99.  These are in pratically new condition, and perfect for this season's 70's trend.

vintage floral tunic $1.99.  I'm so in love with bold floral prints, so I had to snag this tunic.  I'm going to wear this with a pair of skinnies and belt it at the waist to give it some shape.

vintage floral dress $6.99.  Again, I love the floral print of this dress.  I'm going to replace the tie belt and wear one of my own belts with it.

polka dot mini wedges $2.99.  Out of all the shoes in that horrible selection, I found these.  I love them, and they would add a nice pop of color to a plain tee and jeans combo.

I absolutely love your finds! Nothing better than thrift store bargains that look like they came from the mall! Good picks.
