Cheapalicious Review: NailSense nail enamel

I was recently given the opportunity to review a new to me nail polish brand called NailSense by SeneGence. My friend, Kelly, is currently an independent distributor for SeneGence, so I'd thought I'd help her out by spreading the word!  Check out her store here.  Now back to the review...

one coat, with NailSense basecoat and  Seche Vite topcoat- natural light, minor tip wear after fourth day of wear

Pros:  This nail enamel claims that it's long wearing and it is.  I got about eight days worth of wear out of it before I became bored with the color, and I probably could've went longer.  As you can see from the above pic, there was minor tip wear after the fourth day, and I was a bit surprised because due to my heavy typing and such, the tip wear usually shows up within a day after a fresh manicure. No peeling, lifting, or chipping.    Also, it only took only one coat to get the opacity that I wanted and I had no application issues, so I'm happy with the formula. I'm impressed!

Cons:  In my opinion, it's a bit pricey- $15 for a 0.2 oz. bottle, and $10 for base coat or top coat- and I can't see myself spending that kind of money on a nail polish.  There are very limited colors, mostly in the nudes, red, and pink color range.  That may be fine for some people, but for me, I love a bit more of variety.  I don't think these nail enamels are free of the Big 3 (DBP, formaldehyde, and toulene), so if that is a concern of yours when purchasing nail polish, then this brand is not for you.  Overall, I liked this polish, but if it were a little cheaper and came in more color ranges, then I would purchase it solely for it's long lasting power.
