I decided to make a pair of earrings inspired by the hoops that the ladies of VH1's Basketball Wives wear. Their earrings can be found at online boutique, Poparazzi, but they're currently out of stock. Not to mention that those babies are $55, and I don't want to put that kind of a dent in my wallet (at least, not for a pair of earrings). Here's my very easy DIY version of them.
- hoop earrings: Again, I went to Citi Trends and purchased this three-pack for only $2.49, but you can use any gold hoops that you have laying around. Whatever size you like is totally up to you, but I prefer huge hoops. The bigger, the better.
- rhinestone encrusted spacers/beads (not sure what the exact name of these are): I purchased mine from Ebay seller, Good Buy Bead. For $10.99, I got 100 spacers, but I'm sure you can find these from any craft store. I used a 10mm spacer, and if I would've gotten a smaller size, they wouldn't have fit through my earring.

I used about twenty spacers on each hoop, but I think I'm going to add more. What do you think?
***update*** I've added about ten more spacers to each hoop (for a total of 60 spacers). Here's the result:
