Thrift Score: April's Haul aka the Worst Thrifting Trip Ever......

Last Saturday, I decided to venture over to the Goodwill Outlet after work for a little retail therapy. Though, I was excited about digging around in the bins for some goodies, all that was quickly shot down once I entered the store.

I'd been dealing with these pesky allergies since last month, and I totally forgot to take my allergy medicine for that day.  Since most thrift stores tend to be dusty sometimes, as soon as I entered the store, the sneezing and the coughing started.  After what seemed like forever, I finally got it under control and continued shopping.

I got there an hour and a half before closing time, and everything was basically picked over.  They did the last bin change for the day and everyone was standing around it like vultures waiting to swoop down on its prey.  I didn't go near that bin because I know how crazy some of the customers can get.  In fact, while I was over at another bin, a woman almost knocked me over trying to get to it.  Sigh.  With only a few items in my hand, I wasn't finished shopping, but at that point, I was ready to go home.  I left with a purse, four pieces of clothing, and three books (not pictured).  Total price of my haul was $6.61 (about $0.83 a piece).

cropped pants:  I don't know why, but I love the print!  And they're super comfy, too! Perfect to lounge around in.

Have you ever had a bad thrifting trip?
